World Tree Fountain depicts that it is a tree growing upright with the forest from the terrain. And the scattering light formed a flowing, luminous forest, which represents Longci’s rich water resources despite being covered in dry land. The spirit of this scene also resonates with our current society, which even though suspended due to the pandemic, still possesses a lot of hidden energy. Both this energy and the abundant natural resources are waiting to burst to irrigate the land and nourish lives, echoing the core spirit of the festival: to discuss the relationship among ourselves and the environment.
I worked on this project as director and lighting design while at IF+. It is used here for portfolio purposes only.

以《世界樹之泉》從土地沿著樹林，直立向上、錯落的燈光，創造出一片流動夜光森林。描述在龍崎的乾裂惡地底下，所蘊藏的豐富水源，更呼應受疫情影響而停擺的社會，仍有許多蟄伏的能量，兩者終將在某時某地迸發，灌溉大地、滋養生命，呼應藝術祭的核心精神，探討人與自身、與環境間的關係。
一片黑暗中，樹冠層輪流亮起，象徵新生靈魂的光束，從樹根汲取養份後向上緩慢漂浮；突然，一聲轟雷，雨水降下，生命得到滋潤後得以茁壯。當祂們成長並互相連結至飽滿狀態時，開始聚集形成巨大的光球並爆發，爆發後凋零的殘屑，落入土中為下一次重生做準備。藉由 15 分鐘一場，每場 6 分鐘的燈光展演，表現大自然的循環。
在定時展演之間，可以看見藝術家辛綺創作的光蟲在林間穿梭，觀眾也能和周遭的鳥屋互動，透過吹氣、吶喊、按壓不同的感應方式，模擬自然界中的風、雷、雨，啟動現場聲光裝置。期待這片真實與數位交錯的森林，能讓人與土地的互動，伏流終會噴發，成為生生不息的湧泉。
